Lessons
Based in Sedlescombe, East Sussex, I produce earthenware ceramics based on traditional studio techniques with a modern twist.
Having spent over 30 years teaching ceramics to secondary school children and adults, I thought it was about time I went back to producing some of my own work.
At present I’m selfishly creating things I like to make on the wheel. Using mainly white earthenware clay with coloured slips and glazes for decoration, I am focusing mainly on one-off pieces and occasionally the odd set if requested.
I also offer lessons in throwing and handbuilding to one or two students at a time.
I can offer a 3 session block which will take you from beginner to a finished piece or pieces. Or if you prefer a one-off taster session. I can supply gift vouchers if you wish to give lessons as a present.
Each session would be two hours and cost £35 pp for two people or £45 for one person. There is also a 10% discount on all purchases made during the workshop.
